Want to know how sadly accurate that straw gif is? So accurate that once, I was having dinner in the dining hall with my friend Lauren. I had a tall plastic cup of water with a straw in it. I kept having trouble finding the straw with my mouth. It got so bad that 3 guys 4 tables away started to laugh and make fun of me. They straight heckled me whenever I tried to drink my water.

Every time my design professor says something like, “questionable”…this guy in my class and I give each other this specific look from across the room.
And then we giggle..
We don’t know each-others’ names either and it’s kind of hilarious.

I got an employee appreciation certificate thingy (because my manager called me at 11am on a sunday and woke me up and asked me if I could make a 6 hour shift starting right then and there and I did) and my manager hung it on the door.

I guess I should just get used to the concept that people don’t really have time for anyone else.
Especially if that person is me.
This isn’t directed specifically towards anyone, I guess what I’m trying to get at is that I would like to feel as if I held some sort of significance in someone else’s life for once.

I showed my design professor an idea I had for a piece on radial symmetry and he just stopped class and told everyone, “This girl has got a piece that’s gonna BLOW you away.”
